AMS BioteQ Expands Global Presence at J-AGRI and MEDICAL JAPAN Tokyo
Showcasing innovations in agricultural technology and wound care to strengthen international market expansion.

SeepPlug™ Innovative Seedling Growing Medium Targets the Japanese Agricultural Market

AMS BioteQ Co., Ltd. continues to expand its international presence through participation in two major industry exhibitions, J-AGRI (Agriculture Week Tokyo) and MEDICAL JAPAN Tokyo, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from October 7 to 9, 2026.

At these exhibitions, AMS BioteQ showcased its innovative seedling growing medium brand, SeepPlug™, and wound care brand, SIPSIP®. Through participation in both events, the company aimed to strengthen connections with local industry professionals and potential business partners, further expanding its presence in the Japanese market.

Agriculture was the primary focus of AMS BioteQ's participation in Japan. At J-AGRI Tokyo, the company presented its independently developed SeepPlug™ growing medium, targeting applications in seedling production, agricultural supplies, and protected cultivation.

Through product demonstrations and on-site discussions, AMS BioteQ engaged with agricultural producers, nursery operators, distributors, and industry partners to explore local collaboration and product adoption opportunities.

SeepPlug™ Enters Japan's Agricultural Market, Starting with Seedling Production

As demand continues to grow for production stability, operational efficiency, and consistent seedling quality, AMS BioteQ has developed SeepPlug™, an innovative seedling growing medium based on its advanced material technologies.

Made from coconut fiber, SeepPlug™ incorporates AMS BioteQ's proprietary PoroVance™ pore-control technology. Its engineered internal pore structure is designed to balance water retention, aeration, and structural stability, creating a stable root-zone environment that supports healthy root development during the seedling stage.

In addition to standard specifications, SeepPlug™ offers customizable sizes and shapes to accommodate different seedling trays, production equipment, cultivation containers, and operational requirements.

Its applications cover vegetables, fruiting crops, flowers, orchids, and hydroponic cultivation, providing flexible product solutions tailored to diverse growing environments and production needs.

According to AMS BioteQ, Japan has a well-established agricultural industry with advanced expertise in seedling production, protected cultivation, and agricultural materials. The market also places strong emphasis on product quality and production stability, making Japan one of the key target markets for SeepPlug™'s international expansion.

Through its participation in J-AGRI, AMS BioteQ sought to gain deeper insights into the specific requirements of different crops, seedling production methods, and growing environments in Japan. The company also aimed to establish partnerships with local nursery operators, agricultural supply distributors, and related businesses to promote the adoption and broader application of SeepPlug™ in the Japanese market.

SIPSIP® Showcased at MEDICAL JAPAN Tokyo, Highlighting Cross-Industry Applications of Material Technology

In addition to its agricultural initiatives, AMS BioteQ participated in MEDICAL JAPAN Tokyo (Medical, Elderly Care & Pharmacy Week Tokyo), showcasing its wound care brand, SIPSIP®.

MEDICAL JAPAN Tokyo brings together products and services from the medical, elderly care, healthcare, and related industries.

At the exhibition, AMS BioteQ presented its existing SIPSIP® wound care product portfolio, introducing its applications to Japanese medical industry professionals and engaging with potential business partners to explore new collaboration opportunities and further expand its international presence in the medical sector.

From SeepPlug™ seedling growing media to SIPSIP® wound care products, AMS BioteQ continues to extend its material research and development capabilities across diverse industry applications. The company also regards international trade exhibitions as important platforms for connecting with overseas markets and industry partners.

The simultaneous participation in J-AGRI and MEDICAL JAPAN Tokyo marked an important step in strengthening AMS BioteQ's presence in the Japanese market.
