Welcome to the Japan JBA, Taiwan BIO, and MIRDC

We would like to thank Yoshiaki Tsukamoto, Director of the Japan Bioindustry Association, Tetsu Yamada, Department Head, Yu-Hong Chen, Consultant of the Bioindustry Development Association, and Project Manager Chih-Ling Hsia and Specialist Hsin-Yuan Wang from the Metalworking Center for personally visiting Yuan Zhang.

The Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA) was established in 1987 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of industries related to biosciences and addressing global issues through biosciences. In recent years, biotechnology has made significant advancements across various fields, impacting many companies. JBA's members include numerous enterprises spanning pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, food, cosmetics, communications, machinery, construction, energy, and natural resources, as well as many public institutions, universities, and public research organizations, enabling comprehensive promotion of bioindustry development through industry-academia-research collaboration.

In 2019, the Japanese government announced a bioeconomy strategy, aiming to elevate Japan to a leading bioeconomy society by 2030 by expanding the bioindustry market and leveraging Japan's advantages in this field. JBA Director Yoshiaki Tsukamoto stated that JBA is actively responding to Japan's bioeconomy strategy and is committed to promoting various bioindustry developments.

The visit from the Japan Bioindustry Association (JBA), Bioindustry Association, and Metalworking Center not only provides our company with substantial advice on commercial cooperation in Japan but also offers further opportunities for matchmaking, facilitating deeper and more substantial exchanges in the development of our biotechnology industry.
